People who are attempting to steal your identity may send you an email that appears to be from Community Bank of Elmhurst. |
From time to time we hear from Bank customers who have received e-mail communications from someone purporting to represent the Community Bank of Elmhurst Customer Service Department. The messages indicate there is a problem with your account and you should click on a provided link to update your account information within 48 hours. These e-mail communications are fraudulent.
No one from Community Bank of Elmhurst will ever ask you to update your personal information via an e-mail message.
If you receive any e-mail communication purported to be from Community Bank of Elmhurst which you suspect may be fraudulent, please call me, Abel Rubio, at the Bank’s main telephone number, (630)782-1234.
We take electronic banking fraud very seriously. The safety of your personal information is important. Please be suspicious of anyone requesting your personal information over the telephone or the Internet.
