We are all in this together

We are all hearing a lot about ‘COVID-19 fatigue’. It has to do with the length of this pandemic, dating back to early this year, the fear of the disease, the stress of a battered economy and all of our hopes to ‘get beyond’ the crisis and back to normal. Inconvenience, boredom, fake news, unemployment, political bickering, virus questions all play a part in this anxiety we are all feeling to some degree. So, what to do?

When in doubt...

  • Don’t put your head in the sand, but don’t overdo your ‘COVID-news’ either.
  • Learn to play cribbage.
  • Plan regular walks…like every day. Get out there.
  • Think about how you can make the upcoming holidays unique to 2020 and thereby turning a potential negative into a positive.
  • Try and be positive as often as possible. Don’t possess on things.
  • Smile. Laugh.
  • Read your horoscope and either agree or disagree with it.
  • Bundle up and eat at an outdoor restaurant.
  • Support Local as much as you can.
  • Have faith.

We keep hearing that ‘we are all in this together’. It’s true. Accept and believe it. We’ll be fine.
